Wednesday Night League:

Teams will consist of two players per team. Each team will play an 8-week schedule against one opposing team each week. League matches consist of 9 holes. Scoring will be based on individual handicaps. Scheduled matchups will be at 4:00, 6:00, or 8:00 p.m. If your team cannot make your scheduled tee time, you can make it up at another time during the week, but it is encouraged to golf at your scheduled time each week to keep things competitive with the team you’re playing against.

Two-Person Flex League:

This league will run the same as the above league, except you will not be scheduled at a specific time each week. You will still be playing against another team each week, but you do not have to golf at the same time as them. Your team will need to schedule a tee time and get your round in each week prior to Sunday night.

Two-Person Scramble Flex League:

This league will run the same as the above league, except you and your partner will be golfing a scramble against another scramble team each week.

TEE TIMES ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL LEAGUE PLAY

*Each two-man flex league round will be given one hour to complete the 9 holes. Any hole not finished in that time will be given a triple bogey. If you decide to schedule your round with another two-man team, you must book two hours and complete the round in that amount of time.

*Each Wednesday night round must be completed in the two-hour allotted time slot.

Simulator Rules:

  • Players are encouraged to bring their clubs to use during league play. We ask that you make sure clubs are clean before you play, as dirt can transfer to the simulator screen.
  • Balls and tees will be provided for league play.
  • No food or drinks in the hitting area. You can enjoy them on the tables outside the hitting area.
  • Only hit from the designated area.
  • Must be at least 12 years of age to play in a league. Ages 12-17 will need a parent present. You must be 21 or older to play after 8 p.m.

Handicapping:

  • Handicaps will be based on the first two rounds. The handicap formed from the first two rounds will be applied to matches 1-2. After week two, the handicap will be adjusted each week.
  • After the third week, teams will be divided into two flights (high and low flights).
  • Handicaps are based on league rounds only.

Matches:

  • One 9-hole match each week. Wednesday night league matches will be played in the same bay as the team you’re playing.
  • Players can play one week ahead. Example: A player needs to go out of town and will not be able to get their round in for the next week. They could play the next week’s round before they leave to stay current. They cannot make up rounds from previous weeks.
  • Subs are allowed, but not encouraged, as it is preferred to have two rounds in before a handicap is established. If a sub is needed, their handicap will be based on the round they played in.

Mulligans:

  • Mulligans will be turned on for Wednesday night league as long as both teams are playing at the same time. If there is a glitch and both parties agree that something isn’t right, a mulligan may be used.
  • Mulligans will be turned off for the flex leagues unless you schedule your tee time with the team you’re playing against that week and a situation happens like what is stated above.

Scoring/Format

  • 9 Holes Handicapped – The lower handicap will be matched up against the lower handicap from the team you’re playing against and vice versa. If your handicap is a 1 and you’re playing against a player with a 10 handicap, you will have to give one stroke on each hole. For example, Hole 1 is a Par 4. If you shoot a 4 and the player you’re going against shoots a 4, you would lose the hole. If the player you’re playing against shoots a 5, you would split the hole. If the player you’re playing against shoots a 6, you win the hole.
  • The amount of strokes and the holes that you will need to give strokes on will be marked on the scorecard before your round. Each hole is worth one point.
  • There is also one point for your total handicapped score. To determine who gets that point, you will take your total score minus your handicap and whoever has the lower score gets that point.
  • The team with the most points wins that week.
  • The gimmie range for putting will be set to inside 10 feet.
  • The terrain penalty will be turned off. This means that you will not need to change your shot out of the rough or bunker. However, trees, bushes, and the angle of your lie will still impact your shot.
